Privacy policy
Last updated July 3, 2026
This policy explains what Tribe collects, why, and what you can do about it. It covers the Tribe mobile app and this website. We keep it short because Tribe keeps very little.
What we collect
- Account. When you sign in with Apple or Google, we store your name and email so your streaks and tribes stay in sync across devices.
- Tribe activity. The tribes you’re in, your daily check-ins, streaks, and any proof you add (a photo or a note). Your tribe members can see this. People outside your tribes cannot.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell your data.
- We don’t show ads.
- We don’t track you across other apps or websites.
How your data is used
We use what we collect to run the app: show your tribes, count streaks, and deliver check-ins and cheers to the right people. We don’t use it for anything else.
Where it lives
Account and tribe data is stored with our backend provider (Supabase). Subscriptions are processed by the App Store or Google Play and managed with RevenueCat, which receives only an anonymous account identifier. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security terms.
Your choices
- Leave a tribe at any time, which ends your streak there.
- Delete a tribe you own, which erases its streaks and history for everyone.
- Delete your account and everything tied to it from the app, in the preferences sheet. You can also email us at hello@trytribe.app.
Children
Tribe isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we’ll update the date above and, where it matters, let you know in the app.
